The War in Ukraine

David M. Longenbach, Penn State Lehigh Valley History Faculty,
presents our fall lecture series, “The War in Ukraine”. In this five-part series we’ll explore: the military, political and economic impacts of the conflict. We will review the Russian and Ukrainian militaries and their strategies and equipment and how these have evolved over the conflict. Join us for this deep dive into this modern conflict.
THE FIVE-PART SERIES WILL EXPLORE:
October 12: The history of Ukraine, the Soviet Union, and Crimea
October 19: The Russian’s attack, problems in logistics, leadership and drones
October 26: Ukraine holds, western support, and economic realities
November 2: Stalemate? Politics in the Russian State and Wagner
November 9: Ukraine’s counteroffensive and a strategic analysis
Schedule: Lectures will be held from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Cost: $69 per person, $99 for two people of the same household.
